Enable third-party cookies

Xactimate One uses the Verisk Identity Server to manage your login credentials. You need to have third-party cookies enabled on your browser for this to work.

Enable cookies in Chrome

If your company manages your Chrome settings, you might not be able to enable cookies. For more help, contact your administrator.

Enable all cookies

  1. In the top-right corner of the browser, click More  .
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Privacy and security, click Site settings. 
  4. Under Content, click Cookies and site data.
  5. Select the Allow all cookies radio button.

Enable specific cookies

If you block cookies by default, you can still allow them for a certain site.

  1. In Chrome, click More  at the top right.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Under Privacy and security, click Site settings. 
  4. Under Content, click Cookies and site data.
  5. Next to Sites that can always use cookies, click Add.
  6. Enter the web address.
    • To create an exception for an entire domain, insert [*.] before the domain name. For example, [*.]verisk.com will match identity.verisk.com and all other verisk.com websites.
    • You can also enter an IP address or a web address that doesn't start with http://.
  7. Select the Including third-party cookies on this site check box.
  8. Click Add.
To remove an exception you don't want any more, to the right of the website, click the delete icon  .

Enable cookies in Firefox

According to Mozilla, "Starting in Firefox 69, third-party tracking cookies are blocked for all users by default." So if you use Firefox, you will need to enable cookies from Xactware and from Verisk.

  1. In Firefox, open the Menu.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Select Privacy & Security.
  4. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Permissions.
  5. In the Address of website field, enter identity.verisk.com
  6. Click Allow.
  7. Continue to add websites as needed.
  8. Click Save Changes.

Enable cookies in Safari

  1. In the top left corner of the browser, click Safari.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select Privacy.
  4. In the Website Tracking section, make sure the Prevent cross-site tracking check box is NOT selected.
